March 2020, tHE sCHOOL CLOSED CAMPUSes. sTUDENTS WERE SENT HOME TO TAKE CLASSES ONLINE. MY ROOMMATE AND I WERE STUCK IN EMPTY DORMS. THE TRAVEL BAN MADE IT QUITE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A FLIGHT BACK TO CHINA.
THERE WASN'T MUCH TO DO. WE SPENT 99.5% OF OUR TIME IN OUR 180-square-feet room, zooming for classes and phoning our families. during The rest 0.5% we went to the dinning hall downstairs, grabbed all the food we needed for three meals, and stole a little walk around the nickerson field on our way. This was how we witnessed spring in 2020.
